The brother-in-law of underworld gangster Chhota Shakeel was arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch in an extortion case from 2004 recently. The cops arrested Salim Mohammad Iqbal Qureshi alias Salim Fruit, (41), in the case wherein a Mahim-based doctor was threatened by Shakeel's gang in 2004 for Rs 25 lakh.
Police said Salim was operating in Nagpada
