A five-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a 45-year-old man when she was out playing in the park
A five-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a 45-year-old man when she was out playing in the park. The girl's mother told the court, during his hearing that her daughter came back from school and went out to play to the park nearby, which is when the incident occurred as per reports by the Times of India.

The girl's mother told the court that her daughter came back crying from the park and when she asked what was wrong, the girl said that a man had scratched her private parts and fled.
Later in the day, the mother and daughter went to the market close to their home and the child spotted the accused. The mother then informed the girl's father who filed a complaint with the police. The man was arrested later that day. On Monday, a special Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act court convicted and sentenced the accused man to five years imprisonment after the girl identified him in court.
