Brunch with the boss
There was a time when Sunday brunches were the haloed property of city five-stars until Indigo introduced the concept in the restaurant space, back in 1999.

The lazy, boozy New York-style brunches featured live performances. Executive chef Jaydeep Mukherjee aka JD, recalls, "We were the city's first chain to introduce the concept of Sunday brunches at a standalone restaurant when only hotels had the concept.

Our patrons are well-travelled and have been exposed to the New York-style brunches. To live up to the expectation, we introduced the same here, a leisurely brunch with the perfect European ambience."

Now, guess what? For Indigo's 17th anniversary celebrations on April 24, the restaurant is recreating the ambience with a lavish brunch spread featuring everything from antipasti to spiked popsicles. Wouldn't want to miss out on this one, eh?

Initially, we were appalled at the apathy of babus, imagining that they might have forgotten to edit the subject line for an internal mail meant for colleagues. After a few moments, we realised that the referred to ‘sheet'. Need a sub-editor, MTDC?
