The city — sliced, diced and served with a dash of sauce

Planet home truths
Today, June 5, World Environment Day, global awareness platform Natural Mantra.com has launched an initiative called Breathtaking, in which children and adults on Marine Drive will conduct their daily routine while wearing oxygen masks.

The idea is to shock passersby and get them to approach the mask-wearers to ask the reason for their action. On being questioned, they will share data and information about planet Earth all designed to raise awareness and sensitivity towards the cause of saving the environment.

Flight of fancy
Move over walls, monuments and heritage sites. It seems youngsters have found a new place to scribble their love for each other.

Literally, going by the writing on the wall - er, seat

And it's 35,000 feet above sea level. We spotted the love of one Imran for the object of his affections scrawled on the back of an airplane seat recently. Joining the mile-high club just got a new meaning!

A summery look at London
We know, we know. Mumbai is not London; but we also know that there is some kind of connection, spiritual or otherwise, between both cities. Like, how many Mumbaikars will be heading to London this summer? Very many, we know.

One of Bollywood's favourite hunting grounds, Karan Johar's especially, London is so much on the Mumbai radar. So, this picture alongside which should surely bring a smile to many faces. We can only say: oh, how very British really.
