Nearly 50 per cent of India's Cambridge toppers are from Mumbai

25 students out of 41 world toppers in the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) tests in November 2015, and March and June 2016 in India are from Mumbai's schools

25 students out of 41 world toppers in the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) tests in November 2015, and March and June 2016 in India are from Mumbai's schools. According to a report from the Times of India, in comparison to 2015, the numbers of doubled this year, especially in mathematics.

101: Indian toppers in individual subjects out of which 40 pc are from Mumbai
6: Toppers from Podar International School and Dhirubhai Ambani International School
4: Topppers from Utpal Sanghvi Global School, Aditya Birla World Academy, Jamnabai Narsee School, Billabong High International School, Santacruz, and Dwarkibai Gangadhar Khetan International School among others.
