The body of a 26-year-old man, who allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the Bandra-Worli Sealink from Worli area, was found at sea side near Bandra Fort on Monday morning

The body of a 26-year-old man, who was missing from suburban Khar since Sunday, was found at sea side near Bandra Fort on Monday morning, police said.
According to police, the deceased identified as Pawandeep Singh Kohli allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the Bandra-Worli Sealink from Worli area.
Kohli, is son of a businessman and was missing since Monday. A missing complaint was also filed at Khar police station, said another police official.
"We received information at around 9:30 am that a body was seen near the rocks at Bandra Fort. Police rushed to the spot and retrieved it with the help of fire brigade officials," police said.
The body was then sent for post-mortem, they said.
"The deceased was identified by his father," said senior police inspector, Bandra, Pandit Thackeray. The reason for Pawandeep's extreme step was not yet known, the official said.
