Here's some good news for the Central Railway (CR) employees. No longer are their complaints going unheard and suggestions for improvement of the service are welcome. The GM will meet employees and address their issues every Tuesday between 3 pm to 5 pm.

B B Modgil said, "The intention behind this initiative is to provide the railway staff with a platform to voice their grievances. I may not always have a solution to their problems, but will them vent their frustrations. It will let them know 'we care'."u00a0
Employees have to submit their names along with their problems or suggestions to the deputy GM a week in advance. "This will give us enough time to study employees' problems and find solutions. The list of employees will be compiled and handed over to the GM," said S Mudgerikar, spokesperson, Central Railway.
Modgil held his first meeting yesterday and four people came up with suggestions to improve the railways. "The circular was issued on January 29 and not many are aware about this initiative. We are sure to get a good response from employees," added Mudgerikar.
