One more club surfaces in ticket black-marketing scam

The name of another city club has surfaced in the ticket black-marketing scam for Sachin Tendulkar's last match.


The police have now arrested a member of the Shivaji Park Gymkhana for selling complimentary passes for Rs 30,000 each.

The Property cell of the Crime Branch arrested Suryakant Chavan for selling four tickets to Hyderabad-based students for a total of Rs 1.2 lakh.

The students were asked to deposit the money in a bank account and then handed the passes outside Wankhede Stadium. The bank account details helped them trace the accused. u00a0
