The civic body plans to finish construction of a flyover near Mumbra station by March 15 and the Station Area Traffic Improvement Scheme project at Thane station latest by April.

The civic body will also carry out beautification of the Masunda and Siddheshwar lakes. "We have made a budget provision of 26 per cent for the poor and Rs 2 crore for development of the disabledu2026There will be no extra burden on the common man," Jantre said.
