Qasab's lawyer Abbas Kazmi on Thirsday told the court that he wants to recuse himself from the 26/11 case since Ajmal Qasab has no confidence in him.
Special Judge M L Tahilyani then asked Qasab to sort out the matter with his lawyer.
Abbas Kazmi was appointed Qasab's lawyer when, Anjali Waghmare, the lawyer assigned to the prime accused in the Mumbai terror strike, was removed on grounds of "conflict of interest" by the Special Court hearing the case.
Tahilyani had said it was "highly inappropriate" behaviour on her part to keep the Special Court in the dark. It was a reference to Waghmare agreeing to represent a witness who has been listed to depose in the matter.

The case has gone through many twists and turns. A day after Pakistan government admitted that Qasab was Pakistani, the lone surviving 26/11 terrorist pleaded guilty.
On Wednesday, Qasab startled everyone by saying he wanted the court to hang him for his sins.
Qasab's plea had come in the midst of submission of his confession put forth by Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam in the court.
Nikam argued that Qasab had not made any revelations about the entire conspiracy behind the Mumbai terror attacks. By naming other conspirators, he is attempting to prove that he was merely a "pawn" in the hands of other masterminds behind the 26/11 terror attacks.
On Thursday, the court took on record Qasab's admission of guilt and Will consider it as evidence at appropriate stage.
