Rane meets Pawar, may join NCP

Suspended Congress leader Narayan Rane allegedly met NCP chief Sharad Pawar in Pune on Wednesday, said leading Marathi newspaper, Loksatta.

According to the report, Rane met Pawar in the Taj Blue Diamond hotel to discuss his political future and a possible move to NCP.

Delay by the Congress on whether to reinstate Rane could be the reason behind his sudden meeting with the NCP leader, added the report.
