Seven injured while attempting to jump off moving train

People travelling on the Kasara-bound local from CST met with an accident today morning. The train was about to leave from platform number 5 at Kalyan at 7.30 am, when the pentograph of the train broke down.

There was a small fire in the compartment because of the incident and some people panicked and jumped out of the train while the train was in motion. Seven people, including two women, suffered minor injuries. They were taken to the Rukmini Hospital in Kalyan.
