Four days after Shiv Sena leader Ramesh Jadhav was stabbed to death by four men at Malad, two cops from Dindoshi police station have been suspended in the same case for negligence of duty.

The police said Jadhav had given written complaints against the main accused, Gullu Ali Sajida, to Assistant Police Inspector Pitale and Police Sub-inspector NKhairnar as he had molested women earlier and had a criminal record but the duo didnt take action against him.

DCP Panjabrao Ugale of Zone 12 said, "Both officers were suspended as they failed to do their job."
