Prompt action by the Antop Hill police led to the arrest of two kidnappers who abducted Prahlad Gupta (6), and tried to extort money from his fatheru00a0 Om Prakash Gupta, a Sion-based jeweller. Monu Abiraj Singh (22) and Sachin Vikas Sonawane (23), were nabbed at Dombivli yesterday.
"The two will be produced inu00a0 Kurla court for remand and have been charged under section 364 (A) kidnapping for ransom," said a police officer from Antop Hill police station. Prahlad was abducted on Saturday and his father received a call demanding Rs 30 lakh. The police found him at Mumbra station on Sunday.
