Slumdog actors at CST airport before leaving for Oscars Awards

Last night, the Mumbai International Airport saw some of the excited child actors of the Oscar-nominated movie Slumdog Millionaire as they boarded a flight to attend the Academy Awards to be held in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The young stars included Ayush Khedekar, who plays youngest Jamaal in the movie, Madhur Mittal, who plays elder Saleem, Tanay Chheda, who playsu00a0 teenage Jamaal, Ashutosh Gajiwala, who plays teenage Saleem, and Tanvi Lonkar, who plays teenage Latika.
Dream come true
"It is like a dream come true. We had never thought that we'd get to attend the Academy Awards and meet Hollywood stars. We'll be there for six days and the production house has also arranged a trip to Disney Land," said Mahesh Khedekar, Ayush's father.
"For Ashutosh, we haveu00a0 two battles to win. One is obviously the award and the other is his SSC board exam on March 2. We pray he succeeds in both," said Lobo, Ashutosh's mother.
Child actors Rubina Ali, who played youngest Latika and Azharuddin Ismail, who plays youngest Salim will leave today, as their passports and visas came late.
