A doctor at a civic-run hospital in Parel, he had been absconding since he and his his two brothers murdered his wife on March 14; cops say the trio knew she was pregnant
SENSATIONAL details have emerged in the Sandhurst Road suitcase murder case with the arrest of the victim's husband a doctor at a civic-run hospital in Parel from Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh last morning.
According to the police, Dr Parvez Haq and his two brothers, Tabrez and Hashib, murdered Rehmat despite knowing that she was four months pregnant.

They stuffed her body in a suitcase and left it aboard an Ambernath local at Mumbra.
The suitcase was recovered by a drug addict at Sandhurst Road when the train was on its way back to CST.

The addict was under the impression that it contained valuables and heu00a0 left it at the platform by him when he discovered its contents.
Police officials said the trio was so relaxed after the murder that they stopped to chat and have breakfast before going to different locations.
One of Rehmat's friends tipped off the Government Railway Police and Tabrez and Hashib were arrested from Mumbra on Friday.

A manhunt was launched for Parvez and he was arrested from Khandwa last morning.
"We arrested the key accused, Dr Parvez, from Madhya Pradesh on Sunday morning. I can give you more details only after his interrogation," said ACP Dilip Chavan of the GRP.
Motive
Parvez and Rehmat hail from Motihari district in Bihar. They fell in love a few years back and eloped and got married in Delhi in June last year. They came Mumbai and rented a flat at Prakash complex, Santosh Nagar, Mumbra.
A few months later, Rehmat found out that Parvez was already married and his first wife stayed in the same area. This led to daily quarrels between the couple and Parvez decided to kill Rehmat.
He and his brothers murdered her on March 14 and Tabrez and Hashim left the suitcase in the lugagge compartment of an Amebernath-bound train at Mumbra station.
