A day after a 14-year-old committed suicide owing to online bullying on a social networking site, investigations have revealed that the deceased girl and the boy were also in a relationship.
On Wednesday, following the girl's demise, the father had alleged that the 15-year-old had been harassing her, after which the cops had arrested him (âTurned away by cops after being harassed online, teen kills self', MiD DAY).
"The boy studied in my daughter's class and had been following her and despite my many warnings continued to stalk her. I told him to stay away from her but he didn't listen," the girl's father told the police.
However, relatives of the girl said that the two of them were in a relationship and, in fact, the victim had been adamant about continuing their relationship despite her father's opposition.

The case
On Tuesday around 4.30 pm, after her father had left for work following lunch, the girl, a resident of Iraniwadi, Kandivli (West), went to her room to study.
