Later, he said we would receive the moneyu00a0 through the Jai Ho Trust. But we have still not got the sum," said Shamim, Azhar's mother.
Neerja Matoo, one of the trustees of the Jai Ho Trust, confirmed that Butler did contact them.
"Two and half months ago, Butler approached us and promised to give the kids Rs 5 lakh each.
We informed him that the donation would be used as funds to provide houses for the kids. We have not heard from him since then," said Matoo.

Call divertMeanwhile, Shamim's friend, who tried to contact Butler, said the call was forwarded to an answering machine.

"He had called us once and said that whatever he had promised would be given."
The Jai Ho Trust was founded after the release of Slumdog Millionaire for the welfare of the child stars Rubina and Azhar. The trust has already allotted a house to Azhar's family.
