Two coaches of a Satara-bound train derailed this morning at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus here.
Two passengers were injured in the mishap, a Central Railway spokesman said.
This is the fourth incident of its kind in the Central Railway (CR) zone.
" Five coaches of the CST-Kasara local train which was on the verge of moving out of platform number 6 derailed around 7 a.m. today (Friday)," a CR spokesman said.
"We are investigating the causes of the derailment. On account of the accident, platforms 5 and 6 have been temporarily closed to carry out relief work. Suburban train services will be delayed by around 20 minutes," he told IANS.
On Nov 11, eight coaches of the Mysore-Ajmer Express derailed at Jejuri near Pune, injuring six people.

That same evening, five coaches of a Karjat-bound suburban train derailed on platform number 6, but nobody was injured.
Eleven coaches of the Gandhidham-Bengaluru Express derailed near Bhiwandi in Thane district Nov 5, leaving four passengers injured.
On Oct 27, a water pipeline bridge collapsed on a local train in Thane killing three, including the driver of the train.
