On March 30, cops received the complaint from a 31-year-old Malad resident and registered an FIR against Kumar under section 354 (A) (sexual harassment) of the Indian Penal Code.
Let out on bail
According to sources, Kumar surrendered in court, from where the court released him on bail. Sources also confirmed cops did not find any strong evidence against him in this case, after which they submitted the 45-page chargesheet in court. This was the second FIR registered against Kumar.

The complainant said she met Kumar at a rental casting studio TVF had vacated in 2014.
They knew each other, but weren't friends. She said she was walking outside the studio one day when Kumar gestured her to approach him.
'Do you like mangoes?'
She reluctantly walked towards him, after which he told her he'd recently come back from Ratnagiri and bought mangoes.

He asked her if she liked the fruit and while doing so, slid his hand from her neck to her waist. The woman was shocked with his behaviour and immediately left.
In a nutshell
The string of sexual harassment allegations against Kumar began after a blog post, in which a woman alleged Kumar misbehaved with her several times and also molested her. The woman then filed the first FIR against Kumar. Months after the allegations, Kumar stepped down as TVF CEO on June 16, announcing the same on Twitter.
