Mumbai, which had reported no fresh Covid-19 cases on two occasions in the last four days, on Saturday logged three infections, taking the tally to 11,55,245, said a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) bulletin.

The death toll remained unchanged at 19,747. Earlier this week, Mumbai logged zero Covid-19 cases on January 24 and 27.

The metropolis is now left with 14 active cases while the number of recoveries went up to 11,35,484. Mumbai's case recovery rate stands at 98.3 per cent. The average doubling rate of cases is 4,54,916 days.

A total of 2,360 swab samples were tested since the Friday evening, taking the number of tests conducted so far in the city to 1,87,04,663, the BMC said. The COVID-19 cases grew by 0.0001 per cent from January 21 to 27.
