Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) leader and Member of Parliament Supriya Sule Monday brought all the affidavits and evidence related to the disqualification petitions filed in relation to the NCP rift to the Election Commission in New Delhi and said that everyone knows that the party belongs to Sharad Pawar.
The NCP leader also noted that they would show all the affidavits and evidence to the Election Commission with all transparency, ANI reported. "We have brought all the affidavits and evidence. With all transparency, we want to show it to the Election Commission," NCP MP Sule said.
The NCP leader said that the original Shiv Sena belonged to Late Balasaheb Thackeray and from Kashmir to Kanyakumari everyone knows that the NCP belongs to Sharad Pawar.
"We have a lot of documents and affidavits and we have come here to submit them to the EC. Original Shiva Sena belongs to the Late Balasaheb Thackeray. He himself handed over Shiv Sena to Uddhav Thackeray when he was alive. For us, there is only one Shiva Sena and Uddhav Thackeray is its chairman. Similarly, Sharad Pawar founded the Nationalist Congress Party. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari everyone knows that NCP belongs to Sharad Pawar only," she said.

The Supreme Court issued directives on Monday, instructing the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Speaker to make decisions regarding the disqualification petitions linked to the internal conflicts within the Shiv Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party by December 31, 2023, and January 31, 2024, respectively.

In response to the SC's decision, Supriya Sule expressed profound gratitude, emphasizing the necessity for timely resolution. "I am deeply thankful to the Supreme Court for ensuring fairness. Finally, we have a clear timeline. The Speaker holds the responsibility of upholding integrity, which unfortunately wasn't being observed in Maharashtra. The intervention of the Supreme Court was necessary. From the depth of my heart, I convey our sincere appreciation to the apex court for ensuring justice," stated the NCP leader.
The NCP party encountered a split in July of the current year when prominent leaders, including Ajit Pawar, and eight other party members, joined the ruling alliance led by Eknath Shinde and the BJP in the state.
Ajit Pawar, a leader within the NCP, took the oath as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, accompanied by eight other legislators from the party.
This move, led by Ajit Pawar, who is Sharad Pawar's nephew, resulted in eight other NCP MLAs joining the Shinde-Fadnavis government. It occurred amidst efforts by opposition parties to unify in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls next year.
