The Indian Certificate of School Education (ICSE) Board declared the results of Class X (ICSE) and XII (ISC) on Saturday afternoon. In Maharashtra, the ICSE result has recorded a passing percentage of 100 per cent, whereas ISC recorded 99.94 per cent. Girls outperformed boys, recording a pass percentage of 100 per cent in both the ICSE and ISC exams. Only three boys were declared unsuccessful in the exam - two from ISC and one from ICSE.
"The data submitted by the schools has been analysed by a team of reputed statisticians from some of the premier institutions in the country," stated a press release by Gerry Arathoon, Chief Executive and Secretary of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi.
"The marks obtained this year by students show the learning curve during the pandemic," said Francis Joseph, President of SLN Global Network. Rohan Bhat, Chairman of the Children's Academy Group of Schools, said, "The results are perfectly in line with the students' overall performances."
