Many cancer survivors of different age group also shared their experiences at the event
On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the India Post, Mumbai region, in collaboration with Tata Memorial Centre, released a special cover on Thursday.
The event was graced by Dr R.A Badwe, director of the Tata Memorial Centre, H.C Agrawal, chief postmaster general, Maharashtra and Goa circle, and Swati Pandey, postmaster general, India Post, Mumbai region.
The aim of this special cover is to create awareness about cancer and educate people to take preventive measures. Besides, the special cover is also a tribute to the millions of people fighting cancer.

Also, Mission Vision - a joint project of both the organisations - was unveiled for detection and prevention of cancer. Under this project, team India Post, Mumbai region, would take on joint study of health, nutrition, cancer diagnostics and care with Tata Memorial Centre's team.
