Two persons were held allegedly with firearms from Nerul in Navi Mumbai, a police official said on Monday.

Acting on a tip-off, Sharun Shalini (26), hailing from Kasargod in Kerala, was nabbed near Nerul railway station with a country-made revolver and two bullets, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Suresh Mengde.

"He said one Altmesh Tamboli from Karad had supplied the weapon. Tamboli was held too," he said.
