Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray delivered a resounding message at a spirited rally in Jalgaon, saying, "The people of India seek a government for Bharat, not just Modi Sarkar." Speaking passionately at the Shivtirth Grounds, opposite the BJP headquarters, Thackeray rallied support for Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) Lok Sabha candidate Karan Balasaheb Patil Pawar. Drawing inspiration from Lokmanya Tilak, Thackeray said, "Remember the famous words of Lokmanya Tilak which said âSwaraj is my birthright and I shall have it'. The situation is similar today and I will say Swaraj is my birthright and we shall protect it. The Constitution must be saved at all costs," Thackeray said.
"If Modi is giving a guarantee, it is my vachan (promise) to the people and it will be a fight between Modi's guarantee and Uddhav's vachan. Modi's guarantee is corruption. A person got ten years of prime ministership and wasted the time. If he had worked for the people, then there was no need for him to take so many meetings. Did he have to come so many times to Maharashtra and conduct meetings when we were in alliance with them? They are now rattled and know that they will lose power," Thackeray said.
"My first promise to the electorate is that I will restore glory by bringing all industries back to Maharashtra and that too with interest, eliminate GST on farming products. The government is indulging in tax terrorism. I am ready to talk, debate and answer all issues that Modi and Amit Shah have raised. But they need to answer all the people's queries. People have so many questions about the past ten years," Thackeray added.
"Will Modiji answer why he did not visit Manipur even once? He went underwater to Dwarka, but not to Manipur and never visited Tuljapur when he visited Maharashtra. Farmers here have stored cotton in the house, as they are not getting adequate rates. Money is deposited in your account by the Modi government and taken back by applying GST. What is the use? We promise to remove that. Modi has put up pics on vaccine certificates and even manure. Why? Everyone knows who Prajwal Revanna is and what he has done," he said.

"MVA will win all the 48 seats this time. When our Sena was with them, we had already won 40 seats. Devendra Fadnavis says the BJP is an engine with wagons of power. But in reality, the BJP wagons run on the wheels of corruption," Thackeray added. "I want to congratulate Karan Patil Pawar and Unmesh Patil publicly as they have gone against the power and joined us to bring the power to us. The BJP has always believed in use and throw culture," Thackeray said.
Shiv Sena (UBT) Lok Sabha candidate from Jalgaon constituency Karan Balasaheb Patil Pawar said the electorate has voted for the BJP for 30 years and now I appeal to all to change the taste and vote for the Shiv Sena (UBT) and the flaming torch. Advocate Asim Sarode said that repealing Article 370 is a farce. "Just one clause has been taken off and that too due to buying land in Kashmir. Who has bought land in Kashmir now? Only two-three people and the biggest among them is Gautam Adani because the biggest Lithium stock has been found there," Sarode said.
"The BJP government is in danger. While it facilitated exports for Gujarat, Maharashtra was left neglected. Our farmers are bearing the brunt of this biased policy. We're weary of such politics. BJP's approach resembles the divide-and-rule tactic of the British. This battle is about restoring dignity to our farmers. The BJP shows no concern for issues like Girnar, Tapi, or the struggles of banana, onion, and cotton farmers. It's a clash between economic power and the will of the people," remarked outgoing MP Unmesh Patil.
