A container cabin caught fire in Maharashtra's Thane district shortly after midnight on Monday, destroying decoration materials kept in it, civic officials said, reported news agency PTI.
Fire in Thane: No person injured
No person was injured in the incident, Thane Municipal Corporation's disaster management cell chief Yasin Tadvi said, reported PTI.
The blaze erupted in the container carrying wedding decoration materials near Chuha bridge on Diva-Mumbra road at 12.42 am, he said.

Fire in Thane: Fire doused
After being alerted, local fire personnel and the regional disaster management cell team members rushed to the spot, reported PTI.
The fire was put out by 2 am, the official said, adding that all the materials stored in the container were gutted.
A probe was on to find out the cause of the fire, he said.
Fire in Thane: Other incidents
Earlier, a fire broke out in a four-story residential structure in Thane, Maharashtra, destroying 20 electric metres, according to civic officials. The incident occurred on Saturday night at the Noor Mahal Housing Society in the Mumbra neighbourhood.
No injuries were recorded because the building's residents quickly left after the fire broke out at about 11:15 pm. Firefighters, regional disaster management teams, energy supply people, and police all responded rapidly to the issue, reported PTI.
According to the news agency report, the fire, which started in one of the electric meters, spread quickly to others, forcing an immediate response to contain it. After almost an hour of work, the fire was successfully extinguished.
Following the incident, the building's power supply was interrupted for safety reasons. While a short-circuit is suspected as the source of the fire, investigations are ongoing to determine the actual cause of the outbreak, the PTI report further stated.
Meanwhile, a fire broke out in one of the shops on a roadside in Thane city, Maharashtra, early April 30 morning, destroying three shops. The incident fortunately resulted in no injuries, according to Yasin Tadvi, the chief of Thane Municipal Corporation's disaster management cell.
The fire began at 12:50 am in a shop in the Kolshet neighbourhood and swiftly spread to two adjoining companies, including a tea stand, a salon and a shop selling bedding items, reported PTI.
According to the PTI report, local firefighters and the regional emergency management cell team responded quickly to the event. They were able to extinguish the fire by about 2 am.
Although the cause of the fire is still being investigated, it is important to note that two cooking gas cylinders were safely removed from the tea stand, preventing any potential explosions.
