Maharashtra govt allows restaurants to stay open till 12 am, shops till 11 pm

The Maharashtra govt has announced that restaurants and hotels can remain open till 12 midnight while shops and establishments can stay open till 11 pm with immediate effect. Earlier both were allowed to remain open till 10 pm.

Apart from giving cinemas, auditoriums and theatres relief on certain conditions, the government has opened schools, colleges, malls, and religious places over the last month. Access to local trains has been eased for the fully vaccinated and under-18 people.
