Maharashtra on Saturday recorded 11 new coronavirus infections which took the tally of cases in the state to 81,36,791, the health department said here.
The death toll remained unchanged at 1,48,418 with no new pandemic-related death reported.
On Friday, Maharashtra had reported 32 new Covid-19 cases and one death.
With 13,417 swab samples tested since previous evening, the number of Covid-19 tests conducted across the state so far rose to 8,60,13,994.
The Pune administrative circle recorded six new Covid-19 cases, followed by three in the Mumbai circle and one each in Nashik and Nagpur circles. Latur, Aurangabad, Kolhapur and Akola circles did not report any new Covid-19 cases. The number of recovered Covid-19 patients rose to 79,88,236 with eight patients recovering since previous evening.

Maharashtra has 137 active Covid-19 cases including highest 69 in Pune district followed by 29 in Mumbai and nine in Thane district.
Maharashtra's recovery rate is 98.17 per cent and case fatality rate 1.82 per cent. According to the health department, 2,48,581 passengers arrived at Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur international airports. Of these, RT-PCR tests of 5,560 passengers were conducted.

As many as 12 international flyers have tested positive at the airports so far. The latest flyer to test positive is from Gujarat. Their samples have been sent for genome sequencing, a health department official said.
In the wake of rise in COVID-19 cases in countries like China, South Korea, Brazil and USA, screening of international passengers arriving at Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur airports started from December 24, 2022.
