Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Amit Thackeray has targeted the Shiv Sena, which has been ruling the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) in Thane district, over the poor condition of roads there.
During his visit to these twin towns on Saturday, he said there was no political will power in KDMC to serve the citizens.
Talking to reporters at Dombivli, he said that due to the poor condition of roads and potholes, he preferred to travel there by train.
"The party in power lacks will power and hence the roads are in a precarious condition. They (Shiv Sena) are in power in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), in Thane and in KDMC for the last 25 years, but see the condition of the roads which are full of potholes," he said.

He added that in Nashik, the roads done during the MNS's rule, were still in good condition.
"Nashik and Pune also witness heavy rains, but the condition of roads is not as bad as it is in KDMC and TMC limits," Thackeray said.
