Payal's friends told the police that the victim was tensed due to Ahmed's constant demand for money. According to Payal's friends, Ahmed allegedly forced Payal to spend money on him and raped her for the past two years on the pretext of marriage.
"Based on the statements of Payal's friends, we have booked Ahmed on the charge of abetment to suicide under Section 306 of the Indian Penal code. Four police teams have been formed to trace Ahmed, however, we suspect that he might have fled to Gujarat," said a police officer.
