Three days after Diwali, the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) of the financial capital remained in the âpoor' category on Thursday at 204.
An AQI between 201 and 300 is considered 'poor', 301-400 'very poor' and 401-500 'severe', while the AQI between zero and 50 is considered âgood', 51 and 100 âsatisfactory' and 101 and 200 âmoderate'.
According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), the AQI in the overall Mumbai region was in the 'poor' category at 10:30 am.

Among the monitoring stations that recorded very poor air quality were Malad (301), Mazagaon (303) and Navi Mumbai (312).

Colaba (245), Chembur (239), Borivali (221) and Andheri (239) reported poor air quality. However, in Worli, the air quality was in the 'satisfactory' category.
The city's minimum temperature settled at 21 degrees Celsius.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the day will remain clear and maximum temperature on Thursday will hover around 33 degrees Celsius.
