On Sunday, the Air Quality Index (AQI) of Mumbai was reported to be in the 'moderate' category, as per the SAMEER app.
The AQI data mapped by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), further revealed that of the total 22 stations in Mumbai - BKC, Byculla, Kherwadi, Malad west, Mazgaon, and Shivaji Nagar areas reported 'poor' air quality on November 19 with AQI at 239, 205, 232, 202, 211 and 244 respectively.
The minimum temperature in Mumbai on Sunday is likely to be 22 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is likely to settle at 30 degrees Celsius.
Mumbai's Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 160, in the 'moderate' category, around 10.05 a.m. Further, Thane too reported 'moderate' air quality, with AQI at 196. Navi Mumbai reported 'poor' category with AQI at 204.

Further, the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) revealed that Borivali in Mumbai reported the least polluted air quality with an AQI at 94.
The data further reveals that the most prominent pollutant in Mumbai is PM 2.5 and O3. While the most prominent pollutant in Thane is PM10 and O3.
The most prominent pollutants in Navi Mumbai are PM 2.5, O3 and PM 10. Thane and Navi Mumbai too reported 'moderate' category air quality, with AQI at 186 and 132 respectively.
An AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor', and 401 and 500 'severe'.
