The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Monday revised the protocols for buildings sealed due to coronavirus.
As per the new guidelines, tweeted by BMC assistant commissioner Kiran Dhigavkar, a building will be sealed only if more than 20 per cent of its flats are infected. The patients need to isolate themselves for minimum 10 days from onset of symptoms or testing (in case of asymptomatic patients). The infected also need not have fever for continuous three days.
