Mumbai: Dadra and Nagar Haveli MP found dead in Marine Drive hotel

Independent Member of Parliament (MP) from Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Mohan Delkar, was found dead at the Sea Green Hotel in Marine Drive on Monday, said police.

"The MP hanged himself at the fifth floor of the hotel around 2 pm," said an officer from Marine drive police station.

Cops have found a suicide note, the MP's bodyuard told mid-day. It is believed that he had to attend his party meeting at Silvasa in February 23 but was rushed to Mumbai for some medical treatment.

Further investigation is on.
