A 32-year-old woman died after she was hit by a dumper truck at Charkop in Kandivali (West) on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Charkop police, the deceased Neha Pandya was traveling on her two-wheeler when the dumper hit her.
Pandya who suffered injuries died on the spot. Her brother approached the police and registered a case against the dumper driver identified as Rahul Yadav.
The police officers stated that they have arrested Yadav on death charges due to negligence and rash driving under sections 304A and 279 of IPC.

During the investigation, it has been revealed Neha was residing in Sector number 3 and was working with an imitation farm located in Sector Number 1. The accident happened while she was heading toward her home for lunch," said senior inspector Jyoti Bhople of Charkop police station.
