A massive fire broke out at multiple commercial units in Sakinaka, Andheri east in Mumbai on Thursday afternoon, the BMC said.
According to the civic body, the incident took place at around 1:34 pm at Anis Compound near Ajmeri Masjid in Sakinaka.
Following the incident, the Mumbai Fire Brigade, Mumbai Police, local BMC ward staff rushed to the spot. The fire fighting operations were immediately launched, the civic body said.

The fire was declared as a level-1 fire by the Mumbai Fire Brigade. It is suspected that the blaze was confined to 5-6 units (galas), it said.
The BMC said, as of now no injuries were reported in the incident. Further details are awaited.
