The jewellery shop
The Bandra police are looking for a man who had barged into the store of a well-known jewellery brand near Mount Mary church and demanded diamonds and cash at gunpoint. Two female employees inside the showroom panicked, and one of them ran out of the store, causing the accused to flee, too, possibly fearing that she would call the police. The Bandra police have registered an FIR and initiated a hunt for the unknown gunman, as captured in the CCTV footage.
On August 2, around 7.20 pm, the man with his face covered and wearing a raincoat, entered the Inox jewellery showroom. Within seconds, he brandished what appeared to be a pistol and demanded diamonds and cash from one of the female staffers. Another female staff member, witnessing the scene, hurriedly ran outside, causing the robber to panic and flee the showroom without harming anyone.

Recounting the incident, she said, "A man in a raincoat with his face covered, entered the showroom and demanded diamonds and cash. He then revealed something covered in plastic from his pants, which terrified me and my colleague. When my colleague ran out of the showroom, the accused panicked and fled."
