Mumbai reported as many as 130 new cases of Covid-19 and one death on Saturday, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.
The fresh cases raised the tally of infections to 11,51,170 and toll to 19,735, the BMC said.
129 patients recovered from the virus, taking the total count of recoveries to 11,30,643, the civic body added.

The city now has a recovery rate of 98.2 per cent. At present there are 792 active cases in Mumbai, BMC said in a bulletin.
Of the 130 cases on October 8, only 6 patients are symptomatic and were hospitalised.
