Mumbai reported 159 Covid-19 cases and one death on Friday, the BMC said. The new cases took the metropolis' tally to 11,48,799 and the toll to 19,723, the official data mentioned.
On Thursday, the city had reported 138 cases and one death.
Of the new cases, only 8 are symptomatic, the official added.
The recovery count in the city rose by 250 and reached 11,27,859, leaving the city with 1,217 active cases, the official data mentioned.

BMC data showed that 182,14,897 Covid-19 tests have been carried out in Mumbai so far, including 8,951 in the last 24 hours.
Mumbai now has a recovery rate of 98.2 per cent.
