Mumbai on Monday reported 5 new cases of Covid-19. The fresh cases took the tally of infections to 11,55,098, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said in a health bulletin.
No death was reported on December 26, the death toll remained unchanged at 19,746, it said.
The recovery count increased by six patients to touch 11,35,303.
The city now has an active caseload of 49, the health bulletin said.

According to the data, Mumbai's overall growth rate of cases between December 19 and 25 was 0.0006 per cent, and the recovery rate stood at 98.3 per cent.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra on Monday recorded 15 new cases of coronavirus that raised the tally of infections to 81,36,526, a state health department bulletin said.
The toll remained unchanged at 1,48,415, while the count of recoveries reached 79,87,957 after nine patients recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours, it said.
At least 5,680 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of tests conducted in the state to 8,58,67,109, the bulletin further said.
