The vehicular movement will be hit on Kurla, the police said. The authorities have planned sewage line work as well as Metro-2B work is to be carried out simultaneously in Kurla, the Mumbai Traffic Police said.
According to a notification issued by Raj Tilak Roushan, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic (Central and HQ) on Tuesday said, due to the sewage line work and Metro-2B work on Santacruz Chembur Link Road, South Bound between the stretch of Kanakiya Zillon to Kapadiya Nagar under the jurisdiction of Kurla Traffic Division the vehicular movement will be affected.

The police said that the traffic movement will be affected following traffic arrangement is made from October 1, 12 am till March 1, 2023.

Roads closed:
- There will be 'No Entry' to all types of vehicles coming from Ghatkopar LBS Marg and taking right turn at Kurla Depot Junction to go towards Vakola through South Bound of Santacruz Chembur Link Road.
- There will be 'No Entry' to all types of vehicles coming from Sion L.B.S Road and taking left turn from Kurla Deopt Junction to go towards Vakola through south bound of Santacruz Chembur Link Road.
-There will be 'No Entry' to all types of vehicles coming from Chembur through south bound of Santacruz Chembur Link Road and going straight towards Vakola by crossing LBS Road.
Optional route:
- All vehicles coming from Ghatkopar through LBS road and taking right turn from Kurla Depot Junction to go towards Vakola through CST road shall go straight through LBS road - right turn at Surve Junction must proceed through Sitaram Bhairu Road- right turn at MTNL junction and through Razzak Junction shall proceed to their desire destination.
- All vehicles proceeding through LBS and going towards Vakola by taking left turn at Kurla Depot Junction shall take left turn at Surve Junction before Kurla Depot Junction on LBS road and proceed through Sitaram Bhairu Road - right turn at MTNL junction and through Razzak Junction shall proceed to their desire destination.
- All vehicles coming from Chembur through Chembur Santacruz Link road and going towards Vakola shall take left turn at Kurla Depot Junction- proceed through LBS Road must take a right turn at Surve Junction and proceed through Sitaram Blhairu Road then take a right turn at MTNL junction and through Razzak Junction shall proceed to their desire destination.
Odd - Even Parking order in Kurla
According to the Mumbai Traffic Police, the Kurla traffic division has sent a report stating that both side parking on Thakur Raghuraj Sing Road in the jurisdiction of Kurla traffic division is causing huge inconvenience to the local residents.
In order to solve the issue, the Mumbai Traffic Police have an odd-even parking system that will come into effect from 12 am on September 21, permanently. The Odd-Even date parking for light vehicles are allowed on the said road which means as per Gregorian calendar, vehicles can be parked on the East side of the road on the even dates of the month while on Odd dates of the month vehicles can be parked on the West side of the road on Thakur Raghuraj Singh, Kurla West.
