Mumbai's overall Air Quality Index (AQI) continued to remain in âmoderate' category on Saturday.
According to the System of Air Quality Forecast and Research (SAFAR), the city recorded an AQI of 149 at 11:30 am.
On Saturday, the city recorded an AQI of 173, which falls in the âpoor' category.

An AQI between 201 and 300 is considered 'poor', 301-400 'very poor' and 401-500 'severe', while the AQI between zero and 50 is considered âgood', 51 and 100 âsatisfactory' and 101 and 200 âmoderate'.
The SAFAR dashboard on Saturday showed Worli's AQI as 65 and BKC's AQI as 43. Colaba's AQI and Mazagaon's AQI continued to stay in the âpoor' category at 228 and 228, respectively. While, Anderi's AQI and Malad's AQI improved to âmoderate' category at 190 and 176, respectively.
Meanwhile, the city recorded a minimum temperature of 22 degrees Celsius.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the day will remain clear and maximum temperature on Friday will hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
