The Navi Mumbai police in Maharashtra's Thane district on Thursday arrested a 37-year-old man after recovering MD worth Rs 15 lakh from him, an official told news agency PTI.
Acting on a tip-off, the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) carried out a raid at village Pisarve and seized 150 grams of the banned drug in powdered form from one Gulam Ali Nadir Khanbaj, the station house officer at Taloja police station told PTI.
Apart from the drug worth nearly Rs 15 lakh, the police also seized a high-end car valued at about Rs 50 lakh and Rs 50,000 cash from Khanbaj.
A case has been registered against him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, the official told PTI.

Meanwhile, Police have arrested a 49-year-old man and seized mephedrone, a banned drug, worth Rs 50 lakh from his possession in Navi Mumbai township, an official told PTI on Wednesday.
Acting on a tip-off, the Navi Mumbai police's Anti-Narcotics Cell laid a trap near the man's house in Taloja area on Tuesday evening and caught him.
The police seized 500 gms of mephedrone powder, a synthetic stimulant, from his possession, the official from Taloja police station told PTI.
The man was booked under provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, the official told PTI.
The police were trying to find out from where the accused sourced the contraband and to whom he planned to sell it, the police told PTI.
In another case, the police on Wednesday arrested two drug traffickers at Mahim east in central Mumbai and seized mephedrone worth Rs 28 lakh from them, an official told PTI.
The Ghatkopar unit of the crime branch's anti-narcotics cell (ANC) nabbed the two persons in Kamlanagar area in the morning and recovered 140 grams of the banned substance, also popular among drug users as 'm-cat' or 'meow meow'.
The seized drug is worth about Rs 28 lakh, the official told PTI.
The duo told the police that they had been trafficking drugs in the city's Sion, Dharavi and Mahim for the past several months, the official told PTI.
