A 22-year-old man working for an online food delivery firm was killed after a truck dashed his motorbike in Navi Mumbai, police said, reported news agency PTI.
Anjanikumar Mourya, the Navi Mumbai food delivery executive, was out for food delivery when a truck, allegedly driven by Vikas Patil, hit his motorbike near Kopra in Kharghar area around 7.30 pm on Tuesday, said an official, reported PTI.
The Navi Mumbai food delivery executive was declared brought dead at hospital.
A case of rash and negligent driving was registered against the truck driver but no arrest has been made yet, said the police official.

In another incident, one person was killed and 11 injured after their bus rammed into a wall in Gondia in Maharashtra on Monday, a police official said, reported PTI.
The mishap took place on Gondia-Goregaon road near Milltoli after the driver lost control of the bus with a Madhya Pradesh registration number at around 7:30am, the official said, reported PTI.
"The bus with 35 passengers was on its way back from Hyderabad in Telangana. Driver Mohit Umaprasad Kirsan, a resident of Balaghat in Madhya Pradesh, lost control of the vehicle and it rammed into the compound wall of an agricultural firm and weigh bridge. Of the 12 people who were injured, one person identified as Thansingh Yadav (30) died while undergoing treatment," the Gondia Rural police station official said, reported PTI.
A team under Inspector Chandrakant Kale cleared the road and normalised traffic after the accident, he said, reported PTI.
The driver has been arrested and further probe is underway, the official added.
Meanwhile, twelve people including five children were injured, two of them seriously, as a speeding taxi rammed into the autorickshaw they were traveling in here on Saturday evening, police said, reported PTI.
The accident took place near gate no 1 of the Koradi Thermal Power Station (KTPS).
Rickshaw driver Junaid Iqbal Shaikh (40) and passengers including Nachmun (45), Zohara Shaikh (60), Mahera Sayyed (7), Savid (9), Sofia (32), Hasak (4) and Shaheen (34), her sons Farhan (13) and Mehran (7), all residents of Nagpur, were injured, said Koradi police, reported PTI.
The injured were rushed to Mayo Hospital where Nachmun and Zohra were fighting for life.
Cab driver Vijaykumar Rai (28) was arrested for rash driving. Further probe was on.
