Seven shopkeepers in Maharashtra's Thane district have been booked for allegedly selling bags sporting fake logos of popular international brands, a police official said on Saturday.
Bags worth Rs 7.73 lakh were seized from the shops in Ulhasnagar, said Maloji Shinde, the public relations officer of Thane city police.

They have been charged under Indian Penal Code Copyright Act and Trade Marks Act, though no one has been arrested as yet.
