The body of an unidentified man was found in the creek in Kolshet in Thane city on Friday, a civic official said.
It was found at 1pm at Ganpati Visarjan ghat and further probe into the matter is being conducted by Kapurbawdi police, said Thane Municipal Corporation regional disaster management cell Avinash Sawant told reporters.

An accidental death case has been registered, a police official added.
