Thane district on friday reported 21 new cases of Covid-19. The fresh cases took the infection tally to 1,96,946, according to a Covid-19 bulletin issued by the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).
According to the bulletin, no Covid-19 related death was reported on Friday. The Covid-19 fatality toll in Thane now stands unchanged at 2,162.

With addition of the latest coronavirus cases, Thane currently has 181 active cases.

11 Covid-19 patients recovered on October 15, taking the total number of recoveries since the beginning in the city to 1,94,603. The recovery rate in the TMC area is 98.81 per cent.
