The incident took place at around 12:30 pm on Thursday. Following the information the Regional Disaster Management Cell officials also rushed to the spot and launched a firefighting operation
The blaze was found to be confined at multiple electric equipment, triggering a swift mobilisation of emergency management and fire brigade personnel to the scene, the officials said
The blaze had engulfed the shop's AC unit, television, electric wiring, and other items, they said
Upon arrival, the emergency services personnel, accompanied by a pickup vehicle, joined fire brigade officials team equipped with a rescue vehicle and a fire vehicle
No injuries were reported at the incident site, the officials said
The combined efforts of emergency responders led to the efficient extinguishing of the fire by approximately 1:32 pm, they said
The situation was later brought under control, with emergency management personnel ensuring that the fire did not escalate
