NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar was accomapnied by his party treasurer Sanjay Gupta and other relatives.
The veteran politician was presented with a memento and yearbook of the Lalbaugcha Raja by the senior members of the Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal.
Earlier on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, his ally and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray visited the iconic pandal with his family.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Lalbaugcha Raja received donations amounting to Rs 48.30 lakhs.
The reverred deity received donations of 255.80 grams of gold and 5,024 grams of silver.
Many devotees, filled with enthusiasm for Ganeshotsav 2024, had queued outside the pandal to offer prayers to Lalbaugcha Raja.
The iconic Ganesh idol, housed at the Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, is a central attraction during this vibrant festival, drawing thousands of worshippers seeking blessings from the revered deity.
